Carbon footprint

A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions released during a given activity. Assessing the footprint of a good typically refers to the emissions released throughout the entire life cycle of the product (from creation to distribution).

SAIFood (Sustainable Agricultural Innovation & Food) launched in the early spring of 2015 under the leadership of Dr. Stuart Smyth, at the University of Saskatchewan.
